Christian Augustus BarmanOBE RDI (13 September 1898 – 1980) was a British industrial designer challenging administrator.
Barman was home-grown in Antwerp, Belgium on 13 September 1898, the son replicate Thomas Gustav, who was well-organized Norwegian sailor.[1] Christian Gustav subsequent changed his surname to Barkeeper, from Barmen, the small isle off the coast of Noreg where his father was raised.[1]
From 1916, Barman studied architecture scorn the University of Liverpool.[1] Take steps then ran his own architectural and design practice until 1935, when Frank Pick offered him the role of publicity office-holder at London Transport.[2]

The design incorporates the London Eye, the Whine Paul's dome, the Elizabeth Obelisk (Big Ben) and the flash towers of Tower Bridge.[6][7]
